Adrian Lam has had only one week to prepare the Papua New Guinea Prime Minister’s XIII team. But this won't stop the Kumuls in pulling out all stops to beat Australia this Sunday.

The PNG PM's XIII squad is dominated by players from the local Digicel Cup competition. The players will be out to prove they can not only match it with Australia but show their coach that they have what it takes to represent Papua New Guinea in the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.

The Australian team is due to arrive in Port Moresby on Friday with a short preparation time before their clash on Sunday.

Lloyd Robson Oval has had some renovations underway in preparation for the clash. Home advantage hasn't been lost on the locals with a capacity crowd expected and the ground itself much harder then the Australian's would be use to.
