As the countdown is now underway for the final qualifying game to determine who will get the very last berth for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup (RLWC), USA Hawks head coach Sean Rutgerson is acutely aware that his team will need to be at its absolute best if it is to clinch that spot.
Match Officials from nine European nations will take charge of the six final European World Cup qualification games that begin this weekend, with representation from England, Scotland, France, Spain, Czech Republic, Italy, Ukraine, Serbia and Ireland.
The match day squads have been confirmed for the first round of games in the final European qualifiers for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup.
South Sydney threequarter Campbell Graham is set to make his debut for Scotland in the final European qualifiers for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup this autumn after being named in their extended train-on squad. The Bravehearts face Serbia and Spain in Pool B, with the top two going through to the main competition in England.
Ireland have named their train-on squad for this autumn’s final European qualifiers for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup. The Wolfhounds are in pool A with Italy and Spain, with the top two nations going through.
There have been a record number of expressions of interest in participating in the Festival of World Cups which will be held in Greater Manchester in the summer of 2021.
