Rugby League World Cup 2013 organisers have announced today that the BBC and Premier Sports have secured rights to broadcast the tournament.
The BBC will bring live coverage of all England games to television and radio, starting with the Opening Ceremony which features arguably the biggest game in international Rugby League in England v Australia.

School children from Neath got their hands on the Rugby League World Cup recently when the famous old trophy made a whistle-stop tour around Wales.
The trophy was only in the area for a few hours, so two schools, Neath Primary and Tonnau Primary, were selected at random to have the 59-year old piece of silverware at their establishments.

In a sign of how organised the 2013 Rugby League World Cup will be, dates have been announced more than 15 months before the event is scheduled to begin.
Tickets go on sale to the general public in late October with season ticket holders given the option to by tickets now.
Early indications are that the 2013 Rugby League World Cup will surpass the attendance record of 293,965 set during the 2008 Rugby League World Cup held in Australia.

Rugby League Samoa Delegates Travel to England Ahead of World Cup.
Representatives from Rugby League Samoa recently visited the UK on a fact finding mission in preparation for next year's Rugby League World Cup.
RLS President Tagaloa Faafouina Su'a and Secretary General Fritz Tuiavii-Savaiinaea joined delegates from other World Cup participating nations, as well as the Rugby League International Federation, to workshop ideas and inspect host cities of their respective countries.
