The Vanuatu-South Sea Invitational tour continues to attract mass media and general public support throughout regional Queensland with visits to Mackay and Bowen over the past few days met with enthusiasm amongst excited supporters.

The Vanuatu Rugby League have confirmed that DNA Sports Science, an Australian based company that acts as a distributor for leading brands BodyScience, Victor and G Neo, have extended their sponsorship of the Vanuatu national rugby league team in the lead up to the Vanuatu vs Greece international to be played on Saturday 20th October.
Rugby League will continue its surge into exotic places around the World when the Philippines "Tamaraws" visit Vanuatu to take on the National side at Chapius Stadium in Luganville, Espiritu-Santo (Vanuatu) at 3pm today.

The Vanuatu Rugby League are extremely pleased to announce that car manufacturing giant Ford have become the official Platinum sponsor to the Vanuatu national rugby league side. Through Vanuatuâ€™s AutoDis Dealership, Ford have entered into the one year deal with the VRL, which will see the Ford logo adorn the front of the Vanuatu national team jersey, training apparel and leisure wear.
The NRL, in partnership with UNICEF Australia, is calling on the Rugby League community to unite in support of the people affected by the aftermath of Cyclone Pam in Vanuatu.
To kick off Rugby League’s support for the campaign, the NRL has pledged $50,000 to UNICEF’s rapid response network, through which all members of the community can donate.

The Vanuatu-South Sea Invitational team staged a stunning second half come back to force a 30 all draw with Townsville Brothers on Saturday night in Townsville, Queensland. After trailing 20â€”0 at halftime, the Vanuatu-South Sea team fought courageously to come back and snatch the draw with only minutes remaining.
