PAPUA New Guinea Rugby Football League has announced a 29-member squad for the one-off Test match against Fiji next month.

The squad, later to be reduced to the final 18 on Sunday, 26th April, was put together by the PNGRFL National Selectors and Kumuls coach Mal Meninga and assistant Michael Marum.

REIGNING Digicel Cup Champions Hela Wigmen is determined to lift the standards of their establishment as they prepare for another challenging Digicel Cup 2015 season.

The Chairman of the PNGRFL has announced the domestic and international schedule for Team Kumul today after the new board met for the first time at the weekend in Port Moresby.

Fox said there was an enormous amount of work to be done, however the World Cup preparations will be a priority for the new board along with the reintroduction of the Zone and National Championships for Leagues across the nation.

The PNGRFL has today announced the PM13 PNG vs. Australia match will be televised in PNG live on Sunday 12th October from 3pm.

In a unique initiative the match will be shown live on Kundu and Hitron.

According to the PNG Post Courier the Coca-Cola Ipatas Cup rugby league competition will break all records with a total of 84 teams from 21 provinces scheduled to take part in 2013.
