International rugby league returns to Scandinavia on Saturday when current Nordic Cup holders Norway face Sweden at the Bislett Stadium, Oslo (kick off 2pm).

Norway claim runners up spot in Nordic Cup with win over Sweden

A hat trick by second rower Isaac Schmidt and a perfect five goals from Svein Åge Breimoen saw Norway defeat Sweden 30-20 in the final game of the 2015 Nordic Cup, in Bislett, Oslo.
The visitors led 16-6 at the break, tries to Paul Briggs, Pontas Eriksson and Jenne Johansson by the half-hour, Johansson’s second score in the 69th minute giving Sweden an eight point lead.
Bodø Barbarians claim Norwegian Rugby League 9s title

Bodø Barbarians made a triumphant return to the Norwegian rugby league set-up by beating host club Oslo Capitals 29-20 in the final of the first-ever Oslo Open Nines tournament.
The northerners’ scored three ‘golden point’ tries in the decider to lift the first piece of silverware in the club’s history – awarded for touching down in the ‘golden’ zone around the posts – which proved to be the difference.
Norwegian Rugby League expands as more coaches qualify

The 2015 NRL season, which kicks off in mid-April and ends with a final in Bodo in November, will see Eastern and Western conferences formed.
Flekkefjord Tigers, Porsgrunn Pirates and new side Farsund Bobcats make up the west, while Oslo Capitals, Bodo Barbarians and Lillestrom-Trondheim will play in the east.
