Germany coach Dan Stocks has released a 28-man train-on squad for the RLEF European Shield 2012/13 reverse fixtures, with his team travelling to Belgrade to play Serbia.
Former Sydney Roosters junior Jeff Moate, currently playing in France with Lescure, is drafted in and joins the core of players that largely impressed in 2012. He will add experience to an already large set of forwards.
Nationaler Rugby League Deutschland has run a successful Level 1 coaching course as part of the EU-backed Training and Education Portal project.

Warrington Wolves performance department played host to Rugby League Deutschland Head Coach Dan Stocks and Head of Development Uwe Jansen, building upon the relationship started last year to support the progress of the sport in Germany.
Germany continued its rebuilding with a match official tutor course in Hattingen, North Rhine-Westphalia, as part of the EU-RLEF Leadership Devolution Project.
Wales RL’s Ian Curzon oversaw local tutor trainees, Bob Doughton and Simon Cooper and his compatriot Steve Allen, with RLEF match official educator David Butler assessing all participants, as seven aspiring German match officials undertook a level one course.
Paderborn has played host to the second rugby league match day in Germany with, again, over 40 players making the journey from all over the country.

Rugby League Deutschland has elected a new Board of Directors, including a new president Benedikt Rehm, at its AGM in Heidelberg.
Rehm, a long-time league enthusiast and former international, replaces Max Schoengen who had been elected in February 2011.
