Police Rugby League World Cup holders Fiji have secured their place in the Police World Cup final at Headingley Carnegie Stadium on Sunday July 14 (11.30am).

Fiji reached the final after an emphatic 72-0 victory of Great Britain on Thursday night to set up a title deciding showdown with Australia, whom they lost to earlier in the competition in a brutal 32-24 contest.

Fiji continued with their preparations for next years World Cup with a narrow victory over Italy on Friday night at St Marys RLC ground in Penrith, Australia. With the scores locked at 10 all at half time the Fijian's came out in the second half and clinched the match 22 - 18.

Once the Grand Final is played a Super 6 competition takes place comprising of the best players from the FNRL. In September a State of Origin type competition is played with East against West.
