The Canada Rugby League Association (CRLA) has decided to extend the suspension of domestic competitions due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“Our seasons have been suspended for extended periods - now up to June 8 with a further review by the end of May,” CRLA president Bob Jowett told Rugby League Planet.

“Personally, I suspect the (provincial) municipalities will prohibit use of sporting facilities for the whole of 2020, but for now we're leaving the gate open to play some games if the situation changes.”
