2020 State of Origin Dates

Updated 15th May 2020 - The 2020 State of Origin series has been rescheduled for November due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Games have been locked in for the 4th, 11th and 18th of November 2020. Venues are still to be confirmed.

Originally South Australia was to host game one of the 2020 State of Origin on Wednesday the 3rd of June. It would have been the first time the State of Origin would be played at Adelaide Oval. The 2nd State of Origin game was scheduled to take place in Sydney on Sunday the 21st of June. This was going to be the last game of rugby league at ANZ stadium before redevelopment starts. The third and final State of Origin game was heading to Brisbane on Wednesday the 8th of July. With the NRL thrown into turmoil due to the Covid-19 pandemic all games are now rescheduled to be played in November 2020.

Game 1: Wednesday 4th November 2020, Venue to be confirmed, 8pm Kick-Off (Local Time)

Game 2: Wednesday 11th November 2020, Venue to be confirmed, 8pm Kick-Off (Local Time)

Game 3: Wednesday 18th November 2020, Venue to be confirmed, 8pm Kick-Off (Local Time)

 

2020 State of Origin TV and radio broadcast times

 

Channel 9 will broadcast the game live into NSW and QLD in Australia. The telecast times are still to be confirmed. Broadcast TV and Radio times for South Australia, Western Australia and Victoria will be released in 2020. Based on the previous year the following broadcasters will more than likely pick up the broadcasting rights for 2020.

The 2020 State of Origin series will more than likely be covered by usual Australian radio broadcasters 2GB and ABC. Live radio streaming will also be available. Check out our Rugby League Live page for streaming options.
