Toronto Wolfpack’s maiden Super League season is a step closer today with the release of the 2020 Fixtures.
Kicking off on February 2, the 2020 Betfred Super League will take place across 29 rounds, consisting of 14 home and 14 away games for each team in addition to the Magic Weekend held in Newcastle scheduled for May 23 and 24. Due to early season weather concerns and stadium availability in Toronto, the Wolfpack’s Home Opener will come to Lamport Stadium on April 18 against Hull FC, the first clash of a three-game home stand for the transatlantic side.
The Wolfpack will host 11 of their 14 home games at The Den, excluding potential postseason fixtures, meaning every Super League team will visit Toronto in 2020. The Wolfpack’s additional three home games will take place in Europe at neutral venues in rounds one, five and eight.
Round 28 will be the final regular season fixture scheduled in Toronto, with the Wolfpack taking on Wakefield Trinity on September 5. The regular season wraps up for the Wolfpack at Totally Wicked Stadium against St Helens on Friday September 11. From there, the postseason will begin on September 20, culminating in a Grand Final locked in for October 10.
