Forget Usain Bolt & the ALeague… The Reggae Warriors – the Jamaican National Rugby League team are coming for the Rugby League World Cup!
The Reggae Warriors are aiming to emulate the Jamaican Bobsled team from the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics and make the equally cold 2021 Rugby League World Cup in England!
The Jamaica Rugby League will be participating in the American Qualifiers of the Rugby League World Cup in Jacksonville, Florida in 2018. Jamaica will be playing against USA, Chile and Canada to see which team will qualify for the 2021 World Cup. Jamaica needs assistance for airfares after funding resources were cut, which has had an big affect on Jamaica RL.
If Jamaica can’t raise the sufficient funds this will have an affect on certain players being able to represent their country in November, 2018. We ask if you can support us on our goal of qualifying for our first World Cup and making history and inspire the Rugby League World
Jamaica are currently ranked 15th in the world rankings and we hope you will join us on our journey of climbing up the rankings.
