Two USA Hawks players have signed with European teams for the 2018 season.
Eddy Pettybourne and Bureta Faraimo have both opted to leave lower division competitions in Australasia.
Pettybourne has signed with Toulouse Olympique in the Kingstone Press Championship, while Faraimo has inked a deal with Super League club Hull.
Pettybourne was most recently with the Tweed Heads Seagulls competing in the Intrust Super Cup in Queensland. Prior to that, he played for the Gold Coast Titans NRL club.
Faraimo, meantime, spent this past season in the lower grades with NRL club the New Zealand Warriors.
Pettybourne is likely to come up against USA teammates Ryan Burroughs and Joe Eichner in 2018 as they play for the Toronto Wolfpack, a team that earned promotion to the Championship by winning the Kingstone Press League 1 this year.
