Overview: England won the first game of the series three game series 26 – 12. England will be out to wrap up the series and prove to the World they are a force to be reckoned with leading into next year Four Nations which will be hosted in the UK. McNamara has named an unchanged line-up for this 2nd Test.

New Zealand on the other hand will want to restore world order as the Kiwis are still the number one ranked team in the World. The Kiwis will look to win this game which will set the 3rd test up as a decider. The Kiwis have made some changes and now have a more experienced bench.
