On the back of the announcement that the Serbian Rugby League Federation had won the 2015 Rugby League Development Fund Grant. Danny Kazandjian the General Manager of the Rugby League European Federation also congratulated Serbia and the RLDF.
“On behalf of the RLEF I would like to extend my congratulations to the SRLF for their success in acquiring this grant, but even more so to Rugby League Planet and all the contributors to the RL Development Fund for making this prize possible. The grant is as fine example as possible of RL fans prepared to make a real difference to the game, with the grassroots of the sport supported and developed directly through their generosity.”
The RLDF members will now look to kick-start the next funding period which starts now July and runs through to June 2016.
