The Royal Air Force have held onto the Billy Bishop Cup by running out 40 – 18 winners against the Wolverines at Lamport Stadium in Toronto on Saturday.

The local’s turned up in numbers again with 4,626 getting behind their national team.

The Royal Air Force ran in 5 tries in the first half converting all bar one. The Wolverines crossed once to go into half time 28 – 6.

Canada put in a better 2nd half performance. Both teams scored two tries and converted with the 2nd half tied at 12 all.

Canada were left thinking of what could have been if the result of the first half had gone their way. The Royal Air Force securing the Billy Bishop Cup for the 2nd time.

The Wolverines will now look to improve before their next international against the England Lionhearts at the same venue on the 5th of July.
