Canada Rugby League

The Canadian Wolverines will take on the Royal Air Force this Saturday at Lamport Stadium in Toronto. The two teams will be playing for the Billy Bishop Cup. The game itself will kick-off the start to Canada’s International calendar with a host of International lined up over the coming months.

Canada last played the Royal Air Force back in June 2012. The RAF got the upper hand that day running out winners 22 -16. Rugby League in Canada has come a long way since 2012 and the Wolverines will be looking to turn the tables this Saturday.

If there wasn’t already enough rugby league happening in Canada in 2014, they are also sending an under 19’s team to take part in the U19 Rugby League Commonwealth Championships. The Canadian’s will be playing PNG, South Africa and England in the tournament which will showcase rugby league.
