Latin America vs Thailand in rugby league international
Latin America vs Thailand in rugby league international

Date: 26/5/14

Next Sunday’s June 1 Rugby League international between Latin America and Thailand will be streamed live on the internet for global viewers – and in two languages!

Thanks to Sydney production company 2 Little Fish, the match will be available at http://new.livestream.com/2littlefish/HeatStars from 12:45pm Sunday, Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).

The last time the GYG Latin Heat – representing 24 nations from Mexico to Chile – live streamed a match, viewers tuned in from as far away as Colombia, Mexico, Germany, Canada and the UK.

Making the fixture a truly international affair, commentators for the game will include Argentinian NRL fanatic and journalist Diego Arellano, who will deliver the cast in English, but explain finer points for newcomers in Spanish.

The UK’s Robbie Dolan, vertically-challenged author of ‘A Miniature View on Rugby League’, will also climb into the commentary box to add his often comical observations to the clash.

Please be aware that due to the match being staged on June 1, many timezones around the globe will be set to change the previous night.

ALSO for those who haven’t witnessed the GYG Latin Heat’s fantastic video on our project to send 1000 rugby league balls to Latin America, you can view it here:
