Rugby equipment and team wear brand Impact Rugby has become the latest company to join the Russian national rugby league team’s portfolio of partners. The UK based company, which also has offices in Australia and France, has signed on as the official team kit supply partner of the Russian Bears for 2014.
The partnership will see the Russian national team venture onto the field for its European Championship B fixtures in a new state-of-the-art kit design provided by Impact Rugby.
Impact Rugby is fast emerging as a market leader in Rugby apparel and equipment supplies. Impact Rugby is the current kit supplier of UK Championship club Workington Town and also supplies custom head guards to some of the leading players in Australia’s NRL and Europe’s Super League.
Speaking of the new deal Russia’s Southern Hemisphere Representative Shaun Cumming said: “We are extremely pleased to have Impact Rugby joining our growing portfolio of national team partners. This partnership is essential for Russia to compete at the optimal level in the 2014 European Championship B fixtures.
We are looking forward to forming a long lasting partnership with Impact Rugby that will see Russia qualify for the 2017 World Cup if all goes to plan.”
