Wales Rugby League has entered an exciting new partnership with Pr1mo Energy, an energy drink which is set to compete on the global market and whose logo will appear on the back of the welsh shirt during the World Cup.
Pr1mo Energy Sales and Marketing Manager Louisa Chiarelli enthused “We are thrilled to be sponsoring the Wales Rugby League team especially with the excitement surrounding the World Cup in October. We look forward to working with the team in building our brand awareness and enhancing the Pr1mo experience.”
WRL Chief Operating Officer Chris Thair said “We are delighted to enter a new partnership and have listened closely to what they wish to achieve as a business. Pr1mo will gain considerable exposure from the World Cup and we have already started to put them in contact with our existing portfolio of partners who may be able to assist their growth. It is a great tasting drink and we welcome them to the Wales Rugby League family”.
The partnership will go through to 2014 and be reviewed after the World Cup. Pr1mo will appear on the upper back of the WRL jersey during the World Cup whose name and brand takes inspiration from Italian owner Joe Giammasi who established a successful engineering business in the UK after moving here over 50 years ago.
