Police Rugby League World Cup holders Fiji have secured their place in the Police World Cup final at Headingley Carnegie Stadium on Sunday July 14 (11.30am).
Fiji reached the final after an emphatic 72-0 victory of Great Britain on Thursday night to set up a title deciding showdown with Australia, whom they lost to earlier in the competition in a brutal 32-24 contest.
Australia will be confident of wrestling the title away from the Fijians having beaten both them and Great Britain in the round robin stages and former Leeds Rhinos star Scott Donald will be particularly keen to ensure his return to Headingley is a triumphant one.
Tickets for the Festivals of World Cup Finals Day at Headingley Carnegie Stadium on Sunday July 14, when the Women’s, Students and Police World Cup Finals will be staged, cost from just £6 adult and £2 concessions and can be purchased by calling 0844 856 1113 or visiting www.eticketing.co.uk/rle/default.aspx
