2015 State of Origin

2015 RUGBY LEAGUE STATE OF ORIGIN OVERVIEW

2015 Rugby League State of Origin Snapshot – It was suppose to be the year NSW went back to back but nobody told the Queensland team.

Game one saw the Marons get home in the dying minutes of the game with a field goal to take game one 10 – 11 at ANZ stadium in Sydney.

Game two saw NSW dominate QLD in front of a record crowd (91,513) in AFL’s heartland at Melbourne’s MCG. The final score being 26 – 18 with NSW going into the decider feeling very confident.

Game three was pretty much one way traffic with QLD totally dominating NSW on home turf infront of a full house at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. The final score of QLD 52 – NSW 6 the biggest winning margin in 35 years really telling the story of the game.

New South Wales and Queensland will play one game each at home with Game 2 going to Melbourne’s MCG. It will be the first time the MCG has hosted a State of Origin game since 1997.
