On June 14th England will be taking on the Exiles in the only International Origin fixture for 2013. The game will kick-off at 8pm at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington.

Steve McNamara will be using the International Origin match to fine tune England’s preparations for the 2013 Rugby League World Cup which they are co-hosting with Wales later in the year.

Brian McClennan is returning to the UK to coach the Exiles. The New Zealander led the Exiles – a team comprising the cream of overseas talent drawn from Super League – to victory in the inaugural Origin fixture back in 2011.

Brett Hodgson who is currently playing for Warrington in the Super League will captain the Exiles team against England.

The game will also give a chance for the Exiles players to push for selection in 2013 Rugby League World Cup squads for their respective nations.

The Exiles currently lead the International Origin score board having won 2 of the 3 matches played so far. England will be looking to square the tally up on the 14th of June. This 2013 Exiles squad includes players from Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, Tonga, Ireland and the Cook Islands.
