After training and qualifying 8 Rugby League coaches, last summer, FIRL continues the process of training their future technical staff.

On April 27 and May 4, 2013, FIRL has organised a first-level coaching course to be held at Modena Rugby Club.

The course will be held by RLEF trained Italian tutors Kelly Rolleston and Tiziano Franchini, the course will give participants the opportunity to get to learn the technical aspects of rugby league and to effectively train a rugby league team.

At the completion of the course, participants will gain the FIRL and international orginisations official license which enables them to officially coach in the world of rugby league.

The course includes theoretical and practical segments followed by a coaching verification by the tutors.

Both Kelly Rolleston and Tiziano Franchini, believe that this development course for rugby league coaches, is of vital importance to the whole movement of Italian rugby league. The objective of the two tutors is to convey all basic technical aspects that a rugby league team must have to be successful on and off the field.

The course will have a maximum of 24 candidates.
