The 2013 rugby league season in Scandinavian warmed up over the weekend with the Scandinavian 7’s Tournament taking place in Kungsbacka, Sweden. Teams from Sweden, Norway and Denmark all entered teams and the day itself was a huge success, showcasing the exciting rugby league talent within Scandinavia.
The final saw Pan Scandinavian Rugby League rivals Copenhagen RLFC (Denmark) take on the Skåne Crusaders (Sweden). In a hard fought physical encounter, The Skåne Crusaders finally prevailed 12-6. (For all results / photos please click on next under the image on the top right)
Now all attention turns to the official start of the inaugural Pan Scandinavian which kicks-off this Saturday. As luck would have it the two grand finalists from the Scandinavian 7’s Tournament, Copenhagen RLFC and the SkÃ¥ne Crusaders will kick-off the competition with a rematch.
