While not participating in this year’s rugby league world cup, the Canadian’s have been hard at work planning their upcoming domestic and international season.
This week Canada Rugby League announced that the iconic Australian beer Foster’s will be jumping on board as the official beer of the Canada Wolverines.
Foster’s will also be a partner of the “Rugby League Show” which goes to air weekly in Canada during the rugby league season.
This a big coup for Canada Rugby League as the game continues to move forward at a rapid pace. This year 9 teams covering conferences from Ontario and British Columbia will take part in the rugby league season.
The Canadian’s so far have 5 international matches lined up this year. Their first international kicks off against the United States at Lamport Stadium, Toronto on the 6th July 2013.
