2013 Rugby League State of Origin Snapshot – The 2013 Rugby League State of Origin lived up to the pre series hype with a record Origin Crowd of 83,813 thousand on hand for the 3rd game. A record TV ratings record was set with a national average audience of 4,035 million viewers tuning in to watch the 3rd game.

NSW had home advantage with both home games (Game 1 and 3) allocated to ANZ Stadium located at Homebush Sydney.

State of Origin Game 1 took place in Sydney on the 5th of June. New South Wales came out all guns blazing in the first game of the series and outplayed QLD to win 14 – 6.

State of Origin Game 2 took place on the 26th June at Suncorp Stadium in Qld. In front of a hostle home crowd New South Wales never looked like winning with QLD running away with the game 26 – 6 to even the ledger up at a game a piece.

State od Origin Game 3 returned back to ANZ Stadium, Sydney on the 17th July. In front of a record State of Origin crowd of 83,813 New South Wales and Queensland played the game of their lives. In the end Queensland had once again locked up another series winning 10 – 12 to make it eight in a row.
