All eyes will be on the Welsh Rugby League team this coming Saturday night as they take on England in Game 2 of the International Autumn Series. Having lost last weeks game against France the Welsh team will need to overcome mission impossible and sneak past tournament favourites England to have any chance of making the tournament final in two weeks time at Salford.
If the 2011 Four Nations results are anything to go by where England easily defeated Wales 42 – 4 the Welsh squad will be in for a long night at in front of their home crowd.
The game itself is just another part of the Welsh build-up for next years World Cup. The Welsh team will have a clear indication of where their world cup preperations stand at full time on Saturday night. One thing is for sure, rugby league in Wales has seen massive grass roots development take place over the last 5 years. If the current rate of growth continues for another five years it won’t be to long before we see Wales with the depth to compete with the big three!
Final squads are yet to be announced.
