England are preparing for a number of internationals after the Super League Grand Final this year. With Australia and New Zealand staying at home the English team will be doing it’s bit for the Northern Hemisphere teams this October and November.

England will be taking on the France and Wales in and international tri series while the England Knights do like wise against Ireland and Scotland.

With all the activity happening in the northern hemisphere the southern hemisphere counterparts seem to be pretty confident or cocky with the only real internationals between PNG PM XIII’s and the Australian PM XIII’s which happen over the weekend and the Test match between Australian and New Zealand in Townsville on October the 13th.

Outside of Australiasia the United States have just finished the season with two internationals against Canada.

England, Wales, France, Ireland and Scotland will have a great opportunity to fine tune their teams and hopefully gain an advantage over the southern hemisphere contingent bound for the World Cup in 2013. The 2013 Rugby League World Cup will be a great chance for the Northern Hemisphere teams to prove that they have what it takes to rumble with the worlds best rugby league nations form the southern hemisphere.
