The American National Rugby League’s Atlantic Conference playoff series is set and it all gets started this coming weekend.
The #1 ranked New York Knights have earned a bye for the first round of the postseason by finishing the regular season at the top of the standings. The 2011 champions will also get home field advantage.
The #2 Pennsylvania Bulls and #3 Connecticut Wildcats will host this weekend’s qualifying finals after finishing in the top half of the draw, while the #4 Bucks County Sharks and #5 Northern Raiders will be on the road.
The #6 Northern Virginia Eagles did not qualify for the playoffs.
The two winning teams will advance to the semifinals, along with the highest seeded team of the two losing sides.
