1975 World Cup Snapshot - The 1975 World Cup changed from previous tournaments with Great Britain being broken up into Wales and England. Games were also played throughout the year on a home and away basis. Wales performed well in their first World Cup finishing 3rd on the table. Australia finished top of the table but had not defeated England throughout the tournament. A final challenge was arranged but the Australian's left no doubt defeating England 25 - 0. Australia had won the World Cup for the fourth time.
