All Ireland League Set to Kick Off

The 2013 season gets underway this Saturday with four games being played in the Leinster and Ulster Leagues while the Munster League kicks off a week later on the 11th of May.
In total fifteen sides will compete in the league this time around with five sides in each region. With the best side from each section advancing to the All-Ireland Finals this year is set to be as competitive as ever.

World Rugby’s oldest trophy lands in Ireland
Dublin, IRELAND - An Taoiseach Enda Kenny T.D. today (Wednesday, 17 April 2013) officially marked the arrival in Ireland of the Rugby League World Cup Trophy, the oldest trophy in world rugby.
Thomond Park in Limerick will be the only Irish venue to host a match in this year's Rugby League World Cup tournament, which is being hosted by Wales and England. The home of Munster Rugby will see Ireland play Australia in their Group A clash on November 9th in front of an expected global TV audience of over 20 million viewers.
