French Elite 1 Championship - Round 1 Results

The French Elite 1 Championship kicked off in the south of France over the weekend with Villeneuve, Lezignan, Lescure, Pia and Toulouse all securing wins.

With France kicking off their international campaign in under four weeks time. Elite 1 players will need to get up to speed pretty quickly if they are any chance of making the national team which is expected to be dominated by players from the Super League team the Catalans Dragons.
