History - Ukraine Rugby League is at an early stage of development. It is planned to introduce rugby league into schools in the near future.
Ukraine currently have official observer status with the Rugby League European Federation.
On the 13th of July 2008 Ukraine played their first international game against a touring GB Students Pioneers team in Kharkiv. In a close battle Ukraine eventually went down 18 - 34.
The RLEF have annonced that Latvia, Ukraine and Estonia may take part in a proposed Europen Bowl in 2008.
