Top level domestic competition - N/A
History - Tokelau have been playing rugby league at an international level since 1988.
Tokelau have also been involved in the Pacific Cup since 1988. On occasion Tokelau have managed to win against other pacific nations.
In 2007 Tokelau took part in the South Pacific Games. For the first time the South Pacific Games had a Rugby League 9's tournament involving 6 nations . Tokelau beat Niue 16 - 10 in the play-off for 5th spot.
The RLIF have recently stated that the pacific nations will be involved in a Pacific Cup in 2009. The winner will qualify for the 2010 Four-Nations in the southern hemisphere.
